Join Ascent Climbing for a day of guided local ice climbing. You'll learn about the basic tools and techniques required to climb in the alpine and vertical ice environments - but mostly we'll spend the day having fun, top-roping on the ice.

No experience necessary and all technical equipment including boots, ice tools, crampons and climbing equipment is provided (no charge).

If conditions are not favorable for climbing in Connecticut, we'll consider climbing in SW Massachusetts or the Catskills in New York.

Locations are conditions dependent. Participants will receive locations and directions several days before the scheduled ice climbing trip.

Rates

$140/ea
Small Group | 1 guide with 2-4 climbers.
Includes a full day of guided ice climbing and equipment rental (no additional charge). 

Note: Transportation is not included but we are happy to coordinate carpools. Early bird discounts are not available on small group outings.
